Sorry for wishing you all for diwali…..as I was off for some drive to Shimla…….

Nice to be back after some hectic but great outing …………a good driving experience for me while driving through shimla…..

We visited …many places in few days…..as I drove my “maruti esteem” to hills…………. felt once again the need of mahindra SUV’s……

• Mughal garden in Pinjore…..
• Sukhna lake in chandigarh…did some paddle boating within lake….
• Celebrated Diwali in chandigarh…………
• Sadhupul…..picnic spot on banks of Ashwani stream which is main source of water supply in shimla city.   
• Chail……went through kandaghat bifurcation….stayed in log huts within forest premises of Palace hotel….former summer residence of maharaja of patiala……
• Kufri…..went on drive on a rough and steep track till peak of kufri through Gallu bifurcation.. …i.e. Mahasu peak(2600 m)…..…where my car’s 1300 cc engine started gasping for more power and I had to unload two out of five passengers….and they had to trek on foot till top… also went to “Kufri Fun World” amusement park….which claims to have highest go-kart track in world…enjoyed different rides….and drove a go-kart….also went to “Himalayan Nature Park” a sanctuary……  
• Fagu….stayed in my sister’s home…..enjoyed very light snowfall for a moment in evening…..and temp dipped to less than 10 degree in night…..
• Mashobra….went for drive through its thick cedar and pine forests on a rough road…..which is alternate route when main highway blocks in kufri….. which knocked the silencer of car many times….….the most luxurious hotel of Shimla “Wildflower Hall” hotel is situated over here…  
• Naldehra…..a nice picnic spot within cedar forest where only golf course of shimla is also situated……
