1. From Delhi ISBT you get many buses to Jammu, in way you can drop to pathankot and from there to Dalhousie / Chamba
2. The best alternative is a train from Delhi, please inquire about "Dhauladhar Exp." runs from Delhi to Pathankot and is confortable journey.
3. After visiting Chamba - Dalhousie, you can opt to come to Dharamsala.
4. From D/shala / mcleodganj there are many delux/ ordinary buses to Delhi ISBT etc.
But remember, this time be prepared for rains, it has been 2 countinous days of rain here.
No thanx for this one..

It will be a great time if you love rains... because this time it's just rain .. rain .. and rain...
There can be some road blockages for an hour or so but then the greenery is worth the sight.. Chamba and Dalhousie can't be much greener than this time..
Well.. you have many budget hotels or guesthouses at Chamba and Dalhousie.. The hotels near bus stations or main places can be costier so try to find you stay away from the crowd..
Chamba has some beautiful places like the famous Laxmi Nayaran temple, The museum of the royal kings, Sui mata temple, Chaurasi temples of Bharmour etc.
August last is the time of the famous trek walk to the scared lake of Mani Mahesh (4170 m)
From Chamba you could catch a bus (via Jot) to come to Dalhousie, in way you can stay for a while at the mini Swiss lake of Khajjiar. From there a bus will take you to Dalhousie. Please mind there are fewer busus from Khajjiar to Dalhousie, so fix you timings properly.
Dalhousie is a place for quite holidays, visit the Gandhi chowk, the church, Panjpulla etc. You can ask the locals about it.
So this is it.. ask me more.. but rains .. rains.. rains...
and you are always welcomed here ...
