Hydro engineering courses

Palampur, September 17
Chief Minister P.K. Dhumal here today said the state government would
consider the introduction of hydro engineering and allied sciences in
all state-owned technical education institutions.

He said technical qualification was very important for finding jobs in
the present scenario. Such persons could also set up self-employment
ventures.

The government was considering to introduce hydropower generation in
the syllabus of all state-owned engineering colleges, polytechnics and
ITIs.

Dhumal said interests of the people would be protected while
outsourcing vocational education to private players.
