Friends
Hope you don't mind these frequent mails from me on this topic. Just wanted
to share a mail from my friend Dr. Kishlay Anand. I sought his help not only
a a close friend but also someone who can really make a difference.
Just to introduce Kishlay. He is a great doctor, entrepreneur and
humanitarian as well and of course has really illustrious career and someone
who can follow in our great Dr. AKN Sinha traditions. Educated at Don
Bosco,Patna then DPS RK Puram , then AIIMS,Delhi . Columbia University,NYC
and most recently finished his residency at Creighton, Omaha
Please see his mail below, if only we can get enough volunteers on the
ground then he and others like him can really make a difference. One of the
mistakes we need to learn from past is that inspite of knowing the scourage
of flood in advance we (Bihar) didn't prepare in advance.
Now we can at least prepare for the post-flood causalities due to
communicable diseases and lack of clean water rather than waiting for a
major outbreak
Regards
Atul
