Biharis ready to say it with roses
Munnabhai said it with roses to tremendous effect in Lage Raho Munnabhai. And
now, a cultural portal is following Munnabhai’s lead to lodge a protest against
Bal and Raj Thackeray for their anti-Bihari views.

Owners of www.bhojpuria.com have decided to send a rose to the Thackerays
every day till the two show respect for Bihari sentiments.

“We don’t believe in tit-for-tat policy. We request fellow Biharis to support
us in our campaign,” said Sudhir Kumar, MD, Ifogate Exporters Private Limited.

The website was adjudged India’s Best eCulture website for the year 2006.

The portal has launched a blog section titled “Apne desh main hum parya kaise?
Kahen?” (How did we become strangers in our own country) where people can
express their views on the issue.

“There is need to raise our voice against this mindless campaign launched by
the Thackerays against a community, which has played a significant role in the
progress of Mumbai," said Kumar.
