Further to my message posted on the 10th August 2004,

The Government of Bihar has added the following demands to the Central Team that visited Bihar to look into the flood and the drought situation.

Dept Of Industries                          Rs.244.65 Crores
Housing                                    Rs. 33.88 Crores
Rural Development                          Rs. 3437 Crores

Thus the total demand lying with the Central Government comes to Rs. 10,896 Crores.Since nobody can prevent the state from making whatever demands it may make, it will be of interest to watch how much money is given to the state and of that, how much reaches the people.
