Bihar Chintan is meeting on 21st August 2004 at Indian Social Institute, Lodhi Road, Near Sai Baba Temple at 5.00 p.m. to discuss the proposed Dharna and other activities planned in the last meting of 16-17 August 2004. All of you are invited to participate and contribute in evolving an effective action plan for the issues related to Bihar Floods.
It has also been planned to hold a day long Dharna (9A. M. to 5 P.M.) at Jantar Mantar to draw the attention of the govt. to declare the flood in Bihar a natioal calamity and provide adequate relief to the flood affected people.
We call upon you to participate in the Dhyanakarshan Dharna ( Sit in to draw attention to the Bihar Flood) on 25 August in large numbers. Kindly invite all those whome you think as well wishers of the cause for which we stand. We also wish to prepare a leaflet to be circulated among the MPs, eminent persons, members of the intelligentsia and all the concerned people. A copy of the proposed letter is attahced. Your suggestions are welcome.
