no body can tell the syllabus for IIT 2008 until the IIT's declare. U can
prepare on the basis of 2007 syllabus.U can get it on all iit websites. For
preparation u can perform the google search

Hi, I have cleared WB JEE and think to appear for the IITJEE next year. However
one of my friend ( he has cleared the IITJEE) has planned to sell questions of
IIT JEE mains type. They are really good and I am giving u an example problem.
This is in Chemical Kinetics:(read the numbers in brackets as charge)
A certain reactant B(+n) gets converted to B(n+4) following 1st order kinetics.
The rate is measured titrating the B(+n) container with a reducing agent, which
converts B(+n) to B(n-2) and B(n+4) to B(n-1). At t=0, the reducing agent is
required in 25 ml while at t=10 sec, 32 ml of the reducing agent is required.
Calculate the halflife of the reaction.
This is an unique problem which mixes kinetics with volumetrics. If you want
