Thank you to so many who responded to my post about Cisco Systems
positions in India. I will respond to each of you individually but it
will take some time.

I would like to clarify our requirements better. I apologize for not
explaining this in my earlier post. We are looking for:

- Very experienced Indian partners, who are independent consultants,
contractors or companies
- We are not seeking permanent Cisco employees
- Minimum 5 years experience in industry
- Not new graduates, not internships, not diploma projects
- Skilled in one or more areas -- Ethnographic Research, Interactions
Design (also HCI, Information Architect, User Experience), Usability,
or Visual Design
- Ability to handle some projects in India while collaborating with
Cisco in the US
- Ability to handle some projects with US companies from India. For
example, do remote usability testing from India
- Experience with non-consumer software products. So, B2B not B2C. We
consider web sites to be consumer unless they are enterprise
application sites (e.g. Saas, Software as a Service)
- Very desirable if you have experience with IT related software

Cisco is primarily a networking and IP telephony company. So most of
our research and design work involves very technical customers, not
average consumers.
