Simply India: Survey for Soumitri Varadarajan   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #12637 of 13653 |
Dear All,

Soumitri Varadarajan (NID Alumni, Ex IITD Faculty these days in RMIT
Melbourne, Australia) is doing a project on documenting Indian design called
Simply India. The project has a facebook group called Simply India. You can
join that to help him with his project. He also has a blog called Simply
India where he writes a bit and will be putting up all the results of his
documentation work from the project. Also in the blog is a sample sketch of
a designer - and he plans to do many more over the years.

He has written to me to publicize and send out information about a survey he
is conducting as part of this project. So that more people can do the survey
and he can get more comprehensive information for his project about the
design scene in India today.

This is the link to the survey:
http://indiadesignnow.wordpress.com/2009/07/03/designer-survey/

It is an electronic survey and Soumitri informs me it is very quick and easy
except for two detailed questions.

Thank you

Praveen Nahar
Associate Senior Faculty NID

MDes ID-IITD (Batch of 1994)
Ex Faculty IDC (1998-2002)
