Hi Sudhir,
I can see the number crossing 1000 soon. It can be potentially a very
powerful group to effect any changes.
It has been a great initiative from Sudhir.
I realise that getting together for your own good is against the grain of an
average Indian.
I see this happening in all walks of life. Thanks to the internet...and this
initiative...we are sharing or thoughts to begin with.
Here in Pune the Municipality simply takes the citizens for ransom by just
ignoring the potholes....on the road...Pune is much better off as compared
to other cities as regards to citizens raising their independent voices
against the state..PIL etc but still the effect is minimal..the apathy
continues..as seen in the city infrastructure / lack of planning.
These are some of the social issues that need to be addressed..and design
can be a way to address them.
regards,
Bala
