I beg to disagree with one of the points made in the story:
I believe Deccan did not take away the authenticity from flying since those of
us who want the experience still have the choice. Instead, it gave choice to
those who earlier didn't have any. Authorities could not control the mad rush of
airlines that followed, and gave license for more airlines before upgrading the
airports. In the case of Bangalore, a new airport is nearing completion much
before adequate roads are made for people to reach there. This was the problem,
not the enterprise of Deccan.
Similar Aaj Tak gave a choice to watch news 24 hrs instead of waiting for 8:40
pm (wasn't this the time for hindi news on DD?).
