everybody!

This
is my introductory mail.
I
am the eighth child of my parents.
My
late arrival in designindia is also because of ‘natural’ reasons.

I
was in NID during ‘98 to 2002 studying animation.

I
run a communication design firm called LIGHTz in Ahmedabad.
We
do everything but animation :)

These few years I have attempted to use my design background
to understand and manage the contradictions in our society.
Getting into active
politics was ‘natural’. I know this surprised many in the design community.
Believe
me, the challenges are surprisingly similar.

I have experienced a legislative assembly election as
a candidate and was comfortably defeated by Narendra Modi :)
The reason was
simple. Designers designed the voter ID cards and never bothered to have their
own :)
So
now you have a designer politician in designindia. ‘natural’ instincts are
difficult to hold back for long but still I don’t have choice but avoid
politics in this forum.
