Hi to evrybody !

I tried to use the parameter estimator module to optimize the
evaluation of the conductivities and I have succesfully run a model
with it. The problem is that I cant understand where the program saves
the "best" configuration (that one which minimizes the objective
function).
When I try to access to the problem editor form the run section
everything seems to be ok and I could see the new K zones. If I try to
load the output file (the dac file) from the "postprocess" panel I
notice something strange in the K zones I have defined. They are not
the same I saw in advance and the conductivieties are not spatially
homogeneous within the areas I have defined. Have you ever noticed
something like that? What is wrong with my apporach?

Ciao
Gio

Hi Giovanni, FEFLOW does not save the optimal configuration. You can check the parameter set after the PEST run, and if you want to keep it just save the model...
