I think, first of all, you must read any good book(s) on "Groundwater
Modelling". To begin with, you can refer "Introduction to Groundwater
Modelling" by Wang & Anderson.

For more details on seawater intrusion, you can refer the
book "Seawater Intrusion in Coastal Aquifers - Concepts, Methods and
Practices" by Jacob Bear and others.
