The Formula One car is a work of art.
Last year's Renault shocked the Ferrari camp into playing catch-up. Even the Mighty Michael could not stop Fernando Alonso from defending his World Championship. Yes, "Der Meister" did give a good fight to the Spaniard in what was the great man's last season. But, the innovations Renault introduced were enough to carry them through, despite the fact that FIA stopped them from using the suspension damper system which gave their cars such great handling qualities. It was another matter of course, that the other teams also came up with their own versions.
This year, Renault has lost their champion, Alonso having deserted to McLaren. Fisichella is arguably the best technical driver in the paddock. It is seen that he lacks the cut-throat instincts in a one-on-one situation. Perhaps his younger Finnish team-mate will inspire him to greater heights? let us wait and see!
And I like their new colour scheme! The old livery actually reminded of Schumacher! Remember, he won his first Championship in a underpowered Benneton-Renault.
