The first ever race to be designated a GP, the French GP at Magny
Cours is into its second century!
The magnificent circuit is one of the smoothest in the calendar and
should see some adjustments from the teams as to the balance of their
cars. Lower downforce and higher speed - or the other way round, to
get maximum advantage in the corners? A hard call to make, in my
opinion. More details at:

The McLarens sure look hot, going into the race. The Ferrari team
seems to be in a bit of turmoil, what with trouble with their Stepney
(!). Renault seem to be recovering but not up to the mark yet. Heikki
is immature and Fisichella too courteous on the track.
BMW? They blow hot, they blow cold... Who can say? Williams is always
a threat.
Still and all, my bet would be Lewis and Fernando racing with Lewis
ending up winning! Of course, that is unless Kimi gets his act
together, as Massa does not seem to be capable of catching the McLarens!
