Fr. Freddy J. Da Costa Memorial Trust having been established and duly registered, its Margao office was recently (27/02/2006) inaugurated by Fr. Freddy's mother Mrs Serafina Da Costa and blessed by Fr. Manoel Gomes.

The following are the office bearers: Chairman - Fr. Manoel Gomes,
Secretary - Shri S M Borges, Treasurer - Shri Fabian G. Da Costa, Members -
Shri Uday Bhembre, Shri Soter Barreto, Shri Marcos Gonsalves and Shri Fausto

At its first meeting the Trust has decided to take up two projects:
1. Essay competition in Konkani for children and youth; and
2. Institution of a perpetual burse at Saligao Seminary, besides the Tabernacle
gifted to Varca Church and Assistance given to St. Anne's Church, Haveri and
St. Anne's Convent, Haveri where Fr. Freddy J. Da Costa met with the fatal accident.
