Just a few minutes back, I sent a letter to Prof David Jackson of the Yale Univ to see the programme because it includes and interview with Percival Noronha, his friend and I marked at TO the names of Nalini and of Contacto Goa.
And now I receive this letter where you say that the Contacto can be seen at a different hour in Portugal...because of a Football game.!!
Perhaps you will know a joke of Salazar's time: he , to distract the Portuguese people of his dictatorship, would entertain them with three "F"s: Fado, Fatima and Futebol !! It appears that
that the same Salazaresque mentality still prevails in the R.T.P.I!!
There was another "F" which I avoid mentioning because it is a bad word,It is a question of changing the vowels of the Word Fado.
You say that the programes of RTPI for the others remains the same
My experience is this: on Saturdays, the Contacto programes are delayed because the FUTEBOL is not yet over.!!
You also say, that you are TIRED due to these changes. Please note that I am just FED UP.and if this continues, I may even give up my anxiety and interest to see the Programmes.And the same will happen with all the viewers
Kindly convey this message to the RTPI.:rather close the Contacto programe than make the viewers dance this..."fado"
