Dear Goemkars,

You know Goa is getting ready for early elections on 30 May 2002,
and this time there is a new political party - Goa Su-Raj taking
part with good and honest candidates.

All those who have been complaining of bad governments in Goa for the
past many years, may now happily rally around this party, whose
president is Mr. Floriano Lobo, and vote for its candidates who can,
and those who cannot vote being in foreign countries may support it

I was asked to contribute my share as a songwriter, and I have
composed an anthem for the Party, which has been approved by its
Managing Committee. This is what Floriano emailed to me last week:
"Dear Basilio, I heard the tune of the Anthem today from the music
maestro at Pilar Music School. I am very pleased with the lyrics as
well as the music. So is also the maestro.
