victims were identified as Goans on Friday hailing from Pissurlem and

Deuwada-Pissurlem and Gama Lamani also of Ambegal-Pale, were close      
friends and worked in the same unit at the Honda-Sattari industrial

efficacy of the scheme for the door-to-door collection of garbage.

QUEPEM, NOV 21 (HC) Quepem police has arrested one Rex Coutinho of      
Quepem on charges of harassing and mentally torturing his wife. In her  
complaint, the wife stated that she and Rex were married about a year   
ago.

Two arrested, beef worth Rs 35,000 seized

BICHOLIM, NOV 21 (HC) Bicholim police on Friday arrested two persons    
from Belgaum and seized 900 kg of beef worth Rs 35,000.According to     
reports, Shabir Mira Bepari and Datakir Bepari were trying to transport 
the beef to Goa. The beef had been placed on the top of a bus           
(KA-22-F-1269), plying from Belgaum to Panjim.
