Yes, I did refer to Gavana. which did perform in Portugal,but as group and NOT as sole singer like LORNA
I dont know about REMO.Perhaps he DID perform,
A certainly agree with you, that LORNA is a great performer. So the iniciative of Casa de Goa was worth,was great.
If I am right,you are one of the new members of the CASA DE GOA. under the presidenship of DR.NARANA COISORRO.I have suggested to him to invite another GREAT GOAN SINGER., Lata Mangeshkar. You must have received that letter, and I hope that you will support my suggestions.

I recall, whilst living in Portugal in the 70/80's, we had a good family friend in Alcantra/Alges area, the late Mr Quintino da Cunha who had a watch repair shop. Whenever we used to drop by his establishment, there was usually Lorna on the PA system with all her hits - it did add a certain Goan feeling to the shop. He was a great fan of hers - like thousands of Goans worldwide.
May his soul rest in eternal peace. He would have really enjoyed the forthcomming concert in Lisbon.
