Depending on the objectives of your search for freshwater locations (i.e.,
pinpointwise or pocketwise), the studies to be done.

Let me inform me your objectve of study and purpose of study. Then we will go
further study in detail. There is lot of literature available for the study of
freshwater identification and saltwater intrusion studies.

Regarding the tsunami affect on saline water, you should have to have the data
of water quality and groundstudies before the tsunami. Then we could compare the
extent and impact of tsunami on water quality. There is no doubt, the water
quality changes would be there, we have to able to demarcate the boundary upto
what extent that has been occured.

For detailed study, you reply with details with your objectives and purpose.
