GWLF does a good job of modeling water balance nutrients and sediment using
a daily precipitation and temperature time series. It is much easier to put
together than other watershed models (SWMM, HSPF). It uses well-accepted
(at least in the USA) algorithms for runoff and water quality, and can
handle both urban and rural (agricultural, forested) land use. It is
available from the author by email or snail mail:
