Dear fellow hydromodelers,
Recently I got interested in the MIKE SHE/MIKE 11 integrated model and
played with it for 6 months so far. In many aspects, I was impressed by
the software a lot (distributed feature, user interface and it physically
based approach). So far, I have been happy with modeling wetland water
table dynamics for flatlands, but I have been struglling with model
validation with measured daily streamflow from mountain watrsheds.
I am wondering any of of you had experince or had any good cases to
suggest the software package does work well for watershed-scale runoff
prediction in upland watersheds. I am particularly interested in the
modeling streamflow from small forested watersheds. Any experience sharing
would be appreciated.
BTW, the software costs about $2000 for education institution.
