An understanding of hydrogeology is fundamental to any understanding of
hydrologic modelling.

A useful introduction, available online, is a manual titled "Basic
ground-water hydrology" by Heath (1983). It is available from the
United States Geological Survey ("USGS") website:

background includes Environmental management and anthropology. From last
