Re: MIKE-SHE and FEFLOW

Kumar,

FEFLOW has not been fully coupled to MIKE-SHE yet. We are currently using both
programs on projects in a way that MIKE-SHE is used for processes above the
groundwater level, thus calculating groundwater recharge. This is then
transferred to FEFLOW as inflow on top. The data transfer is only
one-directional, and is done for the entire simulation. Data handling for this
procedure is still a little bit cumbersome, but we are working on improvements.

DHI and DHI-WASY are thinking about a further integration of both programs, but
this will need a while.

MIKE-SHE has been used in conjunction with FEFLOW. If yes, then how the data
exchange between MIKE-SHE and FEFLOW is managed during simulations?
