Dear colleagues,
This is for kindly asking you for your co-operation.
We are at the moment involved in a project dealing with distributed
hydrological modelling of medium size catchments. As such, we are in a
need of performing a GIS re-sampling (raster) operation from a smaller
grid size to a coarser one. The analysis involves a resampling process
that takes into account the most dominant cell attribute among the
smaller-size cells that are contained in a particular coarser re-
sampled cell.
Due to logistic and software-availability circumstances, we would like
to carry out the analysis with ESRI-ArcView 3.2. Is there any one of
you who happens to know a suitable (public domain) extension or
subroutine that can carry out the referred task, in an automated way?.
If so, would you let us know how to get it?. If you have any similar
experience, epecially applied to land coverage/use analyses, would you
let us know about them?. Thanks a lot in advance for your kind reply to
this message.
Yours sincerely,
R. Vazquez.
