I have seen people with 760 not getting even an interview call (trust me they had good essays)
and that is because INSEAD values international experience and other things like foreign language knowledge a lot.
The Insead average score this year is 703, and last year 707. If your other attributes are ok, then 680 should be a reasonable score for Insead. I am providing here a link on few of the FAQ on insead.
I have not reaserched on NUS, Hence not able to give any input on NUS.
