thanks suresh,utpal
yes IIM-A ADCOM is co-operative and damn professional in all sense
I had sent the same query to IIM-A pgpx ADCOM - they said they are fine with you not submitting the AWA score.
However, the scores should reach them sometime "soon".
They emphasize this because sometime GMAC takes longer than usual time in sending across scrores. So, it would not be overburdening if you ask the PGPX office whether they have received the score or not approximately 16-17 days after you took the GMAT.
And now something I would like to share.
I took my GMAT on 21-July. Score is nothing I want to talk about. However, I raised an incident report that I was presented with an incorrect question in Quant, and that ultimately lead to my low score (because I ended up on Question 2 10 minutes into the test).
Just keeping my fingers crossed although I have not heard of any discrepencies in questions (am aware of a case where the final official score was incorrectly presented).

Nitya,
You can actually submit your unofficial scores and iima is ok with it. They are actually fine with taking test on Aug,11th also.
I 'll forward a mail, which I got from pgpx manager, to you. That should make things clear.
Suresh.
