Dear Pradeep,

Inspite of your amicable intension of enlightening freshers I find
your post seem bit blog self-promoting.

Here are my comments on your post.

(A) "What would you prefer Developer or Testing"?

Even the most experience (4-6 years) developers often have to take QA
positions as part of their career.  Only recently when social testing
has emerge as a complex process that people starting joining companies
as 'Software Testers'.

(B) Now, I do not know why you think that coding contest are means of
recruiting employee's. Good programmers engaging in coding challenges
as means of fun from the early days of programming, like the perls
communities Obfuscated Perl Contest.

I find most of your ideas expressed as half-baked and lack proper
understanding of industry.

None of the Internet Service Providors in India support devices on
other operating system other than Microsoft Windows. They even
mis-guide customer that gnu/Linux doesn't support the drivers.

BSNL and Airtel Boardband provides ADSL2 modems in both USB and LAN
connections. The USB models are supported by ECiADSL Project drivers
where as LAN based modems doesn't need any drivers except for you LAN
PCI card.

Incase you are using Internal/External v56kbs modems they are both
outdated and well supported on gnu/Linux except for some models
(called WinModems).

HAI friends.......

At last i have installed linux--fedora version at the cost of losing
my windows xp(i did a mistake during installation and it all got
formatted).Now i am unable to understand how to install the modem and
also i dont find the dial up connection( i use bsnl netone connection)
to connect to the net.
please friends help .hope u would do this favour for me.THANKS in
advance.

I'm a 2 semester sutdent from PESIT Bangalore

I'm planning to work on a paper on micro processors.. Not any RnD
project..
The topic I thought of is " Qualitative Study of 3 different micro
processors a) athlon 64 b) Intel centrino duo c)Pentium 4 HT

The first one is a 64 bit processor, second one being a dual
processor and the third one is a virtual dual processor..

How do you feel the topic is ?  Any suggestions to improvise on the
topic?

Plz will you people tell me some links wher i get these info.. any
white books on these processors

I visited the official web sites of these companies.. I don't think
there's good info..
I googled too.. I'm getting some sites/. I've to search a lot
friends..
So if you can help me out,, plz it.

Hello friends

Came across http://lokparitran.org a party launched by young IIT
graduates. Today saw interview of some candidates from Tamilnadu in
CNN-IBN Channel.

Was aware of the party since a month. Wanted to hear more about the
party thru news.

If something doesn't work properly , it has to be fixed. Nobody will
