Science fiction[sf] as a literary genre is still at a nascent stage in India. Its high time all science fiction writers in India should unite and try to boost the status of Indian sf not only in our many Indian languages[ there are 24 constitutionally recognized] but also at international level. We Indian sf writers of different Indian languages must not forget that we at the outset are Indians than whatever else. We should not remain divided as Hindi sf writer,Marathi sf writer,Kannada sf writer,Bengali sf writer and so on so forth. We are INDIAN sf writers FIRST.In the backdrop of this humble submission I invoke all like minded sf buffs to please come forward and express yourself for a noble cause and crusade -the enrichment of Indian sf.
Ground Rules for Group discussion on the forum are as follows--
1-Everyone participates and no one dominates.
2-Set aside all personal grouse and agendas except concentrating on sf.
3-Assume good intent of all participants and treat all of them with
respect and dignity.
4.Moderator should be permitted to call a 'time out' when a certain
discussion reaches an impasse or stray too far off the topic in question.
5-Agreements should invariably be reached by consensus.
