What science is doing about regrowth of organs etc is to find physical methods for regrowing,
 having studied lizards or amphibious type of lizard (i forget the name), and they h ave discovered some genes that help do it.
What Swapnil is saying is - through the power of mind with no physical intervention regrowing is done.
 The story retains it power, despite this difference.
