Hi. I just joined and was hoping to find a list of suggested Indian sci-fi
books. It's probably here somewhere, but just evading me.

I am a huge fan of the Indian cuisine (that's all I eat now) and want to learn
more about the culture, and love books, incl. sci-fi. Right now I'm reading two
books, but, sigh, neither is sci-fi. One is "The White Tiger" by Aravind Agida,
and the other, non-fiction, is
The Elephant, the Tiger, and the Cell Phone," by Shashi Tharoor, a collection of
essays about India, Indian culture, etc. I was going to pick up "The Calcutta
Chromosome: A Novel of Fevers, Delirium & Discovery" by Amitav Ghosh. I didn't
find it reviewed here. Anybody read it? I'll have to get it by special order.

Any suggestions? I like John Brunner, Jose Farmer, George Orwell, Walter
Miller, Philip K. Dick, cyberpunk, etc.
