Manitoba Ethanol & Bio-diesel

From the following links you can make out that there is no place for poisonous jatropha in Canada while all sources of bio fuels are being explores.

But the reason I have posted this message is to illustrate that Bio-diesel is cheaper by 5 cents or Rs 2/- due to tax incentive whereas in India firstly poisonous weed jatropha is being promoted secondly farmers are paid only 50% of the retail price.
Manitoba shall convert wheat to Ethanol. So rising petroleum prices will create food shortages/ price
increases.
