In India Jatropha is under plantation without research as well as
trials in different agro-climatic situations. As results millions of
plants planted in different locations are dying. Only 25 percent
survival is reported in Central India. The revenue lost in terms of
dead plants is afterall public's money. It must be recovered from the
planners who dared to plant Jatropha without any trial and ignored
indigenous alternatives.]
