We as well as Jatropha planners of India are regularly giving
warnings that Jatropha cultivation is very less profitable than
traditional crops. Honourable Prsedient of India has also said in
one of his lectures that farmers must not cultivate it in fertile

The planners are promoting Jatropha as cash crop in TN. It may be
cash crop for few planners but not for the farmers. It is another
example that how governments are fooled by socalled technocrats. By
the way who is giving such foolish and anti-farmer ideas to the
state government?
