Dear Group Members,
Scutellera is polyphagus insect and you will find in fields that
it likes Jatropha much. I have received messages from different parts
of India as well as the world that this insect is common in Jatropha
plantations. It is well known pest of traditional crops. Now during
off-season it enjoys in Jatropha plantations and migrate to nearby
crop fields time to time.

Plantations owners donot apply pesticide to manage this insect as
result it uses Jatropha plantations as breeding ground.
I have listed over 50 species of insects harmful to Jatropha as well
as traditional crops. If you have any information on this aspect write
back to me. I can also visit to your area for survey.
Lets come forward to stop monoculture of Jatropha with scientific
evidences of its harms.
