jatropha : Message: Jatropha - A curse for bio-diversity

Dear friends

I want to learnt some basic things on Jatropha. Please reply with very simple way by which a lay man can understand. Presently I am studying as I am complete ignorant about the issue.

What is Jatropha?

Its existence....and where it is avialble now?

How it affects bio-diversity? Please also define bio-diversity and ecological democracy?

In Chhattisgarh Context, What is the situation of Jatropha and its effect< both positive and negative.
