Research Shows Jatropha Not 'Wasteland' Biofuel Crop

According to Indian government researchers, Jatropha plants will grow on
wasteland, but in order to retain a high yield the plants must be well tended as
Jatropha on marginal land yields less than 200g of oil per plant, and 4kg if
raised on fertilized farm land.
