and Comedy time Mayilsamy

The first day , first show was as noisey as it was for a
Rajni Kanth's or Kamal 's movie. Vikram sure has occupied many
hearts over here. Well, the story is all about an uneducated
villager traveling to the City regarding the pollution problem in
the village water sources due to a chemical industry. Shayaji (an
MP) who was supposed to be a native of the village where the story
begins has been used very efficiently by the director and is doing
the vilain role. Vikram(Arumoogam) is coming to Chennai along with
Jothika(Eeshwary) and her granny (Mundakanni) to submit a petition
to the MP about this pollution problem. They all stay at Narayanan
(Viivek)'s residence who is an old friend of Jothika and Vikram from
their village. They come accross the menace created by a rowdy gang
for which a woman is the leader(Sornam akka). This woman is a real
rowdy it seems as she is simply superb in the way she portrayed
herself as a goonda. She and her 3 brothers don the city with the
political support of the MP(Shayaji). Vikram and Jothika face many
troubles from these gang and Vikram retaliates to them. He wins the
rage of the MP and the Rowdy gang as it happens in real politics.

The story is all about how he takes revenge on the MP ,
the gangsters and completes the job for which he came to the city.
The stunts were a bit too much , but its still enjoyable. All, the
characters are really strongly applied and no one has been underused
as it happens in some movies.

Jothika(Dhumsu, as called by Vikram) is adding charm to
the movie and she has lost some weight. She has come up with a
variety of facial expressions and looks cool too. I liked her a lot.
She has done her part in the film with full heart like everyone else.

Reema sen(sapna) , hmmmm, as usual , she has been used
as a glamour doll. I wud have been happy if she wore any garments
that looks disciplined. She reveals a lot than what she covers. The
dressings could have been better. Still, its a treat for some
section of the audiences. She has also played a good role in the
film with a strong impression.

Not to forget the humor army. yes, Vivek and Mayilsamy
have done a great job. They r a real treat to the humor lovers.
Excellent comedy by both of them. One must never miss out on them.

The song Gundu Ponnu has a hint of Barbie Girl and
Wieghfield's Sexy Eyes in it. it is enjoyable too.

Over all, the movie is sure to run for 100 days in
Chennai, but for the climax where it wud have been a better end if
it had a punch in it. First part of the movie is really an express
fast phase and the second half gets a bit slower with serious
influence of violence and special effects. But, the movie ends all
of a sudden without any hint. But that doesn't matter, coz the
movie is a good time pass for most of the Tamil film fans. You all
will like it.

Just watch it. The first 3 songs, good folk numbers r sure to
provide some energy to dance around the theater. Now go and have a
nice time watching the movie. "Machis and Maamus, POi Dhool
Kelappunga---- kaduva meesai, aruvaa paarvai, arumugam dhaan kaiyaa
vechaa Dhool..Dhool". Vikram himself came to the theater to watch
the movie and he enjoyed the screen and the crowd too.
