I have changed my email address. Sancharnet, for some reason refused
to send across any posts to this account.

Anyway, I believe that the present screw up over the job "scandal", is
totally avoidable. One thing is for sure. I had mentioned in earlier
posts that Linux User Groups should concenterate more on helping the
newbies and ways to promote it, rather than "fight among ourselves".

My meeting with Mr Snajeev Guleria was fruitful. I have Suse 9.2
Professional with me. Plus couple of Ubuntu Linux Cd's that I got free
of cost( both 32 and 64 bit versions). I d be willing to meet
personally in and around Mohali to hand it over personally.

Let this LUG grow. Plus have clear rules as to what can be posted here
and what not. I would appreciate if someone starts of a few tutorials
or something. We can then host up a Wiki website or some kind of a
mailing list. That is possible since there is no problem of hosting it
on a dedicated server. If need be, I d be the first one to contribute
towards any small token money that may be needed.
