SMC Drivers and screen res. problems.

Hi!
Everyone out there, I am new here and also at Linux.I have
installed Red Hat linux WS 3 and have two major probs:-
1) I have Tata Indicom broadband and use SMC 7007 EZ connect ADSL/USB
modem, I am unable to get drivers for it plz someone can give them to
me.
2)I have philips 107E monitor 17" and have problem setting it screen
res above 640*480, If I set them above this after rebooting the
monitor says
Frequency out of reach.

Please if someone could help me I would be ever greatful to them.
