Dear Ashish,

When in graphical mode, select "configure desktop". You can select a "Generic CRT Monitor" from the list of monitors. Then you can see list would increase of screen sizes and upto 1280 would be displayed. I have a Philips monitor 107S6. I have that settings are they are working fine.

About tata indicom, how do you connect the modem to your pc ?? Through USB or Ethernet. Do tell us all. Then only we can see.
