Dear Raghav,
You had just installed the Source RPM, but not the binary RPM. So it won't
do any changes to your Grub file. You need to install the x86 rpms which are
the compiled binaries to get it working. Alternatively you can follow the
following howto to compile and start using your own custom-made kernel:

The above link is for Fedora, but you can use the same for other versions
too.
