I am trying to make a simple application in php and i need to know how
to create a linux user and giving him password in a single command.

I tried

useradd user_name -p password

but it doesn't work. in man pages it is written that password should
be encrypted. I tried that also but still failed. could you please
help me out of this situation.

Arminder you are right your point. Please think in that way that you are giving ONLY `useradd` rights to apache as like as `root`. And let us have an example...
