I am using kernel 2.6.3 on debian on an 845 chipset.
My soundcard and the graphics card are working
perfectly. I used alsa to configure my card, btw. ALSA
provides the default sound drivers in the 2.6 kernel
as opposed to the OSS drivers with the earlier
kernels. It's been quite a while since I tried
anaconda but afaik its pretty painless and a breeze to
configure. What problems did u have ?

Yes offcourse Arun, I have Red Hat 9, Federo Core-1 (Which is the next version after Red Hat 9) and offcourse PcQuest 2004 Linux (Which is based on Federo)....
