And BTW ppl there is a database file loaded in the group in which i want you ppl to list any cds you have and want to share it with others...

Hy, linux group

i am arun from ludhiana.i am a linux enthusiast from a year
now and i first used mendrake linux soon i heard about red hat linux 8. i then put it in my comp. but the problem with it is as u all know is that it does not play mpeg3 files also i don't know how to connect to internet through linux.i use a usb56 modem.any of u guys have the driver or know where i can find the drivers of the modem.Due to this problem i format the red hat 8 and put pcqlinux2004 instead but the same problem arises it does't pick up my modem.

i will be really thankful if any one of u can help me.

also  how can i learn python??
