There are 10 computers in the computer lab of my department(Panjab
university, CHD). All of them have windows installed and suffer from
computer viruses regularly.

I have somehow convinced my computer sir to install linux on them. But
the problem is that although i can easily do so at my home, it's
difficult to do so there because of networking problem.

I have a Dataone connection at home which is easy to
configure(pppoeconf) in ubuntu. But i know too little about networking
to do so there. There is one main computer and all other computers are
linked through it.

The networking configurations will have to be found out through
windows (through ifconfig or something like this),since nobody knows
anything there.

I need someone to either guide me through it or come there personally
and do it on atleast a couple of computers. I will do the rest.

system configuration:
P4. 2.4 GHz, 256MB RAM, 845 intel mobo.
