Thanks guys for your positive responses. You know my weaknesses (lack
of technical skills) and strength (ability to collate information) in
this field. Need a lot of help from the techies, and some prior
planning, so that we all could get the most of later face-to-face
interaction.

So would it be apt if those of us intrested sign-up at some relevant
network [1] and share ideas there more intensively before we meet up
at the proposed BoF, assuming it happens?

Also, kindly note that the proposal is for a FOSS-in-schools BOF.
There's space for others to propose BOFs on FOSS-in-college or
FOSS-in-engineering-education. My feeling is that we in India need to
specifically focus on each of these sectors, so that we could move
from generalities to specifics. I'm putting together a paper on this
topic currently, and am pleasantly surprised with the amount of
details that exist on what has already been done. We have a lot to
learn from one another. I'll share what I come up with the rest of
